TASK 2: Reeve's PRELIM and Film Studies Work

This is my previous PRELIM work I did in Media (in a different group to now of course):

I worked on the video as a partial cinematographer. I did around half (or slightly less) of the shots and I also edited the video. Due to various time constraints and an issue of the audio becoming desynced and me having to re-edit the entire video, the end result is kinda sloppy. We didn't have enough time to add music or sound effects, and there was an issue of re-shooting a couple scenes which caused a couple continuity errors (such as people appearing and disappearing in the background), so the end result could've been done better, but it was still alright. We had to make a plot regarding two friends, a train, and a £50 note. We kinda just shoehorned the £50 note into the story, but we had to work with what we had. it didn't work out particularly well, but it wasn't too bad.

This is an extra Film Studies short film I was a part of a few weeks ago:

I worked on this as a partial director, cinematographer, and partial editor. We had more time to make this and I think it shows off my "abilities" a bit more than my PRELIM work, as a director and cinematographer, and it is definitely a more 'complete' piece of work. There are problems, such as me being unable to hold camera properly because I'm an idiot, resulting in plenty of shaking footage and some scenes are a bit awkwardly acted, but it's pretty alright. I guess it's a pretty good first attempt.

(SORRY FOR THE VIDEO COMPRESSION. IT LOOKS AWFUL BUT I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO UPLOAD IT OTHERWISE.)
